San Miguel Primavera Sound Festival 2010
The San Miguel Primavera Sound Festival will take place in the Forum Park – Barcelona, from the 27th to the 29th May 2010.
Some of the best international music bands will be there for this 10th edition of the San Miguel Primavera Sound in the Forum Park - Barcelona!
Around 200 artists are expected to perform, including Pet Shop Boys, The Charlatans, Pavement, Pixies, or even Marc Almond and Gary Numan. This festival is sure to attract a huge audience! You will also be able to discover some artists from the Iberia Peninsula who will perform a large variety of music such as electronic music, pop, rock, punk, techno…
Our favorite: a tribute to Camarón, la Leyenda del Tiempo, (Escenario Rockdelux- Auditori) on Saturday the 29th May at 10pm.
30 years after the release of the Leyenda del Tiempo, an album that revolutionized flamenco and revealed Jose Monge, Camarón de la Isla, as a true “Cante” figure, the San Miguel Primavera Sound welcomes once again a flamenco show directed by Chicuelo. In the same frame of mind that led Camarón into mixing different styles with poems by Federico Garcia Lorca in 1979, “Camarón, 30 years later” merges jazz and flamenco. On stage, you will be able to see Kiko Veneno, Duquende, Silvia Perez and dancer Rafaela Carrasco, as well Joaquín Gómez “El Duende” and Sara Flores, along with exceptional musicians like Chicuelo, Jon Robles, Andreu Martinez, Agustín Espín, Juan Vicente Abardonado, David Gómez and Isaac Vigueras.
