The Park Güell (c / Larrard 59):

It was built by Antoni Gaudi in 1922 and was declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco..Gaudi was commissioned by Eusebi Güell, Catalan businessman wanted to do a luxury development or garden neighborhood of 60 homes. The project was not successful. In the end, only the park was built, and what an amazing result!
It is characterized by colorful tiles and  fountains with sculptures of allegorical animals.You can wonder around  the 100 columns underneath the terrace.
The Guell´s house where the family used to live is located also in the park.This property  became part of the city  and was open to public with free entrance. Is an experience that you don’t want to miss surrounded by amazing nature and breath taking views.

Is a combination of different options like: Castle of Montjuic, the Miró Foundation, the Spanish Village, the Olympic Stadium. It has a garden of roses, sculptures, and a couple of restaurants where it is very pleasant to walk during the summer. Parc de Joan Miró Parc Escorxador (c / Aragon):

Parc de l'Escorxador, Is this public park was built on the site of the former municipal slaughterhouse or escorxador in catalán. Dedicated to the painter Joan Miró. It is located very close to the central Plaça d'Espanya.
Today is one of the largest parks in the city, occupying an area equivalent to four blocks of houses in the neighborhood of Eixample.
It has many gardens and trees, with mostly Mediterranean vegetation, abundant pine trees and pergolas and vines.
It is an exceptional entertainment area. It has a paved plaza, a pond, a playground and even a space for the needs of pets.

It is located north of Barcelona, in the neighborhood of Horta, near the Metro station Mundet.

Parc de la Ciutadella (Avenida Marques d'Argentera):
Located near the Arc de Triomphe in central Barcelona. This park has a beautiful fountain, a lake, palm trees, and orange ... Felipe V had it built after the war of succession and was refurbished for the Universal Exhibition of 1888 and it hosted. This park is ideal for a relaxing time, go with friends or children to walk around various museums like: Museum of Modern Art, Museum of Zoology, located in the Castle of Three Dragons, and the Museum of Geology and as the Zoo (1940) are within their premises.
